Gosh, this blog looks so sad and unwanted...

oh well. Between volunteering and working and riding and studying and hauling siblings to swimteam and PANing and grocery shopping and practicing piano and college scouting and working out my senior year schedule, this summer has been crazy, for anyone who wants to know. Although swimteam just ended. But VBS is coming up to take its place. wh00t.

Two huge highlights of the summer are inching closer by the day, at the end of July and beginning of August: OH MY GOODNESS YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE IS COMING TO VISIT ME and AAAAAAAAH I'M GOING TO COLORADO TO MEET ALL MY CRAZY CLASSMATES! (I hope I like half of you at least half as well as you deserve in person. :P)

so yes. life is good. right now I'm off to take a walk in the 101 degree heat. :D

dot dot.

there IS life.

I finished the NLE and I have an Arthurian epic to read tonight that I don't have the book for God Bless Kristen who scanned it for me (!) and I have a piano competition Saturday and I need to practice and I wonder how I'm going to get there because there's a St. Patrick's Day Parade and I'm still working at the diner and Aspen was stiff today I hope she won't come up lame and I am really excited about going to the beach next month and I wonder if there will be any cute guys there no just kidding gotcha but I hate bathing suit shopping Jenny do you have any around that I can wear hallelujah I finished my Hemingway analysis and The Sound and Fury is impossible to understand and I am sick of trying to tell colleges that I do not attend Episcopal Highschool even though their code is on my PSAT and college spam is driving me nuts and charging two and a half grand for a week and a half summer medical program is absolutely absurd I don't care how smarmy the invitation letter is and I really want to go see a movie Sunday afternoon and I miss my friends and I HATE PRECALCULUS FOREVER.

thank you.

Lalalalaaaaa. The mere fact that I'm posting post midnight should enlighten most of you as to my mental state. I think I'll just hit the stack without spewing a random list of comments that I'll doubtless regret tomorrow. :P

I waitressed a family today. That alone would not be unusual, but this happened to be the same family whose order I REALLY botched two weeks ago. To the cook, who was looking at my ticket very very very carefully, I said it was a chance for redemption. Yep, he was there two weeks ago, too.

...yes, I messed it up again. One of the hamburgers had mayonnaise on it and wasn't supposed to. And, uh, two were supposed to be kid burgers and weren't. Buuuuut, it was not nearly as bad as last time. About which I will not provide any further details.

Is any one absolutely sick of hearing about the diner yet? XD

On Wednesday, October 15th, 2008, the horror commonly known as the PSAT was demolished in a mighty battle from 8:00 to 11:00 central in Louisiana. Approximately two hours later, its demonic twin suffered the same fate in California. (Feel free to add more siblings.)

Everyone else was wearing a school uniform. Boy, did I feel like the elephant in the room. But it's over and it's done and I don't have to worry about scores for several months. wheeee!!!

I hate the PSAT, and yes, also with a passion unbecoming in young ladies.

That is all.
